Rainbow Ridge Prosperity Year 2
No warnings, just a couple of huge pictures under the cut, most are user friendly though. Not much happens in one day/year rounds, but it makes it easier for me to play this way for now, and this is a pretty short update as a result.
Single Mom Emily is off to work and she waves happily to my simself, who happens to be stopping by just as she’s leaving.
Inside, Christine is happily skilling, but Lee is having another meltdown. Lee is a pretty miserable child.
Later that night, Thomas Mullins calls Emily and invites her Downtown. I don’t know what she told him, but even Joshua finds it amusing. Hope it was PG!
Since everyone in this town seemed to be about to go into aspiration failure, I “encouraged” Emily and her best friend Thomas to kiss once, and of course they instantly fell in love.
But just to be on the safe side, Emily buys some “love potion” for later on. 
She keeps a close eye on Thomas’ son, Michael, who is still whining cause he hasn’t fallen in love yet. Soon, Michael, soon.
This is who she leaves in charge of her girls; my simself and the crazy-eyed Nanny. Nice.
The girls don’t care though, they’re just happy to be able to eat something that’s not jello. Yeah, boring day at the Marsh house. Sorry?
The Mullins Family
Sigh. Poor Michael.
He cries constantly, but atleast he manages to feed his kids well. Or better, atleast. I mean,a PopTart is a hot breakfast, amiright?
Since he’s unemployed still and it’s a Saturday, I have him take the family to Le Park. Where he promptly decides to have a public breakdown, which is far better than in the privacy of your own home. I guess.
I wouldn’t know. I tend to keep my craziness to my nearest and dearest only. 
FINALLLY!!!! Family sim Michael finds a girl worthy of him. He meets the Diva, Karen Zhang, who I like to call Psycho B**ch. But it doesn’t matter what I think of her, Michael wants to fall in love, so fall in love he shall!
The Boyd Family
Not much goes on much at John Boyd’s home, either. Popularity sim Nicholas is taken away from trying to make friends for a while to skill and prepare for Uni, too.
His brother Ethan nearly goes into aspirational failure after Dad John starts a fire.
Later, Ethan chats up Caulfield Danger while being swooned over by Susie Mullins. Makes me think maybe Uni will be more fun than I thought!
The Randolph Family I
Newly seperated Maria tells her daughter Pammy questionable stories in her silky jammies.
She later heads to the Pet Park, where all the cool people go, apparently. It was during this quaint game of indoor catch that I notice she’s still wearing her wedding ring, so I make a mental note to make their “separation” a divorce. Or break-up, whatever.
Always one to “keep up with the Jones’ ” Maria meets Mr. Big and chats him up immediately.
Her neglected daughter, Millie decides a public bath at the Pet Park is the proper thing to do. Kids nowadays!
After safely dropping off her kids at home, Maria and Mr. Big “Daniel Pederson” go out for a fun night on the town. They both join a dancing contest, and he wins. Show off.
Maria pretends like money isn’t an issue, and buys the best thing on the menu, even romantically sharing a bite (of the same thing!!) with Daniel. Awwww.
The Randolph Family II
Maria’s estranged hubby, Robert Randolph decided to dye his hair in the hopes of getting more lady loves. But before he hits the clubs, he has to invite Maria over and break up with her, which of course upsets Millie greatly. He consoled her all on his own, so sweet.
Inside, Robert and his best friend Christy Stratton are trying to have an intimate conversation (thus the polka dotted undies!). This unknown townie, however, keeps pranking them both and making inappropriate gestures with her hands. Very rude.
Annoying, unnamed townie eventually leaves, and Robert gladly invites Christy Stratton to move in. I gave her a makeover immediately, I never knew Christy cleaned up so pretty! Notice Maria in the background. Just because they broke up does’t mean she won’t stick around for a good free meal of chili!
Christy up close. She is in love with Robert, but since he wants 20 simultaneous loves, I don’t know how long she’ll stay that way! We’ll see!
